About Constellation Coffee

Fine coffees, teas and espresso bar in the heart of Pittsburgh.

Constellation Coffee is a coffee shop in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It is listed at 4059 Penn Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15224, which places it among the local businesses of Pittsburgh that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

In Pittsburgh, coffee shops cluster around downtown offices, college campuses and the main commercial streets of residential neighborhoods, and the independents usually close by mid-afternoon while chains stay open into the evening. Across Pennsylvania, drive-thru coffee stands and kiosks fill the gap in suburbs and along highways, and roasters often sell bags and brewing gear at the counter. Check the listing for hours, whether the cafe takes mobile orders, and its Google rating and recent reviews; parking is easiest at suburban locations, while downtown shops rely on street meters or nearby garages. Loyalty programs are common and worth joining if you are a regular.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 7 am–4 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Constellation Coffee at (814) 419-9775; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Pittsburgh is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Pittsburgh peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Excellent coffee and treats! Quick, friendly service. Matcha lemonade is a banger. Beautiful pollinator garden. Many different delicious drinks, with focus on quality coffee and teas. Great place to catch up with friends. Reasons to visit again and again!

My favorite coffeeshop in Pittsburgh. Consistently interesting coffees and providers, tasty espressos and cappuccinos, and the occasional fun drink like this new butterscotch-y miso latte thing, which is heavenly. The pours have a lot of nuanced flavors, and the atmosphere is nice. Quality music selections. And it's been like this for 12+ years.

I went close to the closing time, and I was the onlycustomer at the cafe which was pretty nice. The space is rather simple, but very spacious and airy with sunlight, coming in, which makes this place very bright. I got the salted caramel latte, which was pretty interesting and not too sweet. I can’t tell you if I am a fan yet of that flavour, but it wasn’t bad at all.

Visiting from Cleveland, checked out a few other shops, but this was by FAR the best! The service is incredible, which was how I came to select of couple different coffees from Little Waves. Matched my taste preferences perfectly. The baked good pair well with the food too, which I feel was intentional. It didn't feel like random offerings, everything seems thought out. The atmosphere isn't anything flashy, but again, I think that may be intentional. What they lack in flash, they more than make up for with their coffee and food. For coffee snobs, this is an absolute must. Thank you for the great coffee and conversation!

Loved the atmosphere so much and all the gorgeous sunlight through the windows! Lots of people seem to know the baristas here so there was a lot of friendly chatting about coffee in the background. Not many tables but if you can snag one it's really nice to get some work done! Only complaint is that my matcha wasn't very well mixed so it was a bit gritty, but I'll definitely stop by to try a latte soon :)
